A well known rock star recently befriended a southwest Idaho girl suffering from scoliosis and arranged for her family to vacation in Disneyland.

Boise native Addy Berria had the opportunity to meet Poison lead singer Bret Michaels this summer. Michaels, through his Life Rocks Foundation, covered all expenses for Addy's family to visit Disneyland recently. The story, along with several photographs, were shared at the singer's website teamBretMichaels.com.

Airfare from Idaho to southern California, hotel, rental car and passes for all five family members, were all covered by Michaels' foundation. Scoliosis is a life threatening medical condition in which a person's spine is curved rather than straight, which interferes with movement and breathing.
