Fatal Work Accident in Southern Idaho: Juvenile Killed by Farm Equipment

A juvenile was killed in a farm accident on Friday afternoon in Southern Idaho near Rexburg.

Idaho State Police Report Tractor-related Death Near Rexburg

In a news release from the Idaho State Police, they reveal that they are investigating a tractor-related accident in a field south of Rexburg in Madison County. The accident happened around 3:15 in the afternoon of Friday, November 1st.

In the report, ISP states:

A 45-year-old male from Rexburg, ID was doing field work in a tractor. A juvenile passenger fell from the tractor and was struck by the equipment. The juvenile succumbed to their injuries on scene.

Members of the Madison County Sheriff's Office, Bonneville County Sheriff's Office, and Madison County EMS and Fire helped at the scene of the accident.
