Over the weekend Idaho police and emergency responders were called out to multiple vehicle accidents, including 3 involving fatalities. One accident involved a motorcycle rider, another ended in the death of a teen, and a third victim was a young man from Twin Falls.

22-Year-Old Twin Falls Man Dies In Car Accident in Lemhi County, ID

Saturday night, in Lemhi County, emergency responders were called out to a single-vehicle rollover accident that killed one man. East Idaho News reports that four people were in the car, including the man who died, and the driver is facing a felony vehicular manslaughter charge. The crash is under investigation.

Teen Killed In Car Accident in Canyon County, ID

On Monday morning at 12:22, the Idaho State Police responded to a single-car accident in Clearwater County on Cavendish Highway. The police news release states:

A white 2008 Nissan Frontier was traveling westbound on Cavendish Hwy when it went off the right-hand shoulder, was over corrected and came to a stop in the lane of travel on its top. The vehicle was driven by a 16-year-old male with a 17-year-old male passenger. The driver was transported to the hospital. The passenger was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced deceased on the scene. Evidence indicates that the driver was wearing their seatbelt and the passenger was not.

The accident is under investigation and traffic was blocked on the highway for about 5 hours.

1 Dead In Multi-Car Accident With Motorcycle in Post Falls Idaho

Friday afternoon in Canyon County the ISP responded to a 3-vehicle accident involving 2 cars and a motorcycle:

A 78-year-old male from Middleton, Idaho, was driving south bound on Midland Boulevard in a 2017 Toyota Rav4. A 46-year-old male from Boise, Idaho, was driving eastbound on US20-26 on a 2008 Yamaha XVZ13 motorcycle. The Yamaha collided with the Toyota as the Toyota proceeded past the stop sign and through the intersection.

A 74-year-old male from Caldwell, Idaho, was driving northbound on Midland Boulevard in a 2002 Jeep Liberty. The Toyota sideswiped the Jeep after the Yamaha collided with the Toyota.

The driver of the Toyota was transported via ground ambulance to a local hospital. The rider of the Yamaha was wearing a helmet. He succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Traffic was blocked at the intersection for about 3 hours.
