GARDEN CITY, Idaho (KLIX)-A Garden City woman is facing accusations of running up a company account to more than $1 million in unnecessary items. On Feb. 16, Garden City Police announced they had charged Tanya Cerda with grand theft and computer crime-access or uses to defraud or obtain money or services by fraudulent pretenses. Police said the investigation began in early February when the Garden City business alerted them a when the former employee allegedly placed orders on the company accounts of around e$1.5 million in items they didn't need. Further investigation resulted in the arrest of Cerda. The woman was arraigned on February 17. Evidence obtained during a search warrant has been sent to a forensic lab.
