Banbury Hot Springs in Southern Idaho Announces Reopening After 2022 Closure
In the fall of 2022, the owners of Banbury Hot Springs in Southern Idaho made the announcement that they would be closing indefinitely to make repairs and updates. The work isn’t finished, but enough has happened that the pool is back open with limited capacity and the camping accommodations should be ready by the end of June.
Improvements included updating water lines, dressing rooms, and the lobby.
Closed in 2022, Banbury Hot Springs in Southern Idaho is Finally Back Open
Banbury made the announcement on social media and people have been quick to share their joy and memories of swimming in the pool.
There are still updates happening at the park so swimming capacity is limited and overnight accommodations should open later this month. Banbury posted a message to encourage visitors to make reservations online in advance to make sure there is room for your group.
Reservations for swimming are required as we have limited capacity at this time. Please make a reservation so you don't risk being turned away.
An added bonus to the opening of Banbury is that those who want to kayak or paddleboard to Blue Heart can either rent watercraft at Banbury or purchase a parking pass to launch personal watercraft from the park. Space is limited and additional information is online.
The Banbury Hot Springs facility is over 100 years old. For updates on additional pool reservation space and camping, follow Banbury Hot Springs on social media and check their website often.
