If you have kids, there’s a chance they’ve played sports at some point. Some stick with it and make a career out of it, some pick a variety of different sports, and others don’t make it past that first year of rec soccer before they decide sports may not be their calling.

But, it isn’t that easy. Playing a sport for a season isn’t a good indicator of your ability in that sport. It takes time, training, and practice. The right environment helps too.

That is where this list comes in. The top schools in Idaho for kids in sports. This list isn’t definitive. Your kids’ school may not be on the list, and they may be exceptional in their sport, but attending one of these schools does appear to increase the success rate for kid athletes.

I was most surprised that the list isn’t just schools in the bigger cities. Kimberly, Declo, Weiser, and Firth ranked well on the list along with other small towns.
