
Young Passenger From Georgia Dies in Southern Idaho Highway Accident
The only fatal accident reported by the Idaho State Police over the weekend involved an SUV occupied by two young men from Georgia. The crash happened on Saturday morning near the Utah border.
The accident happened near the popular Bear River bridge on US 91.

The news release from the Idaho State Police states that the crash happened on Saturday, March 21st, around 9:45 in the morning on US 91 at mile marker 13. From the report:
- A 22-year-old male, from Cumming, GA was driving a 2005 Toyota Highlander SUV southbound on US91.
- The driver drove off the road, over corrected, and the vehicle rolled over the guardrail.
- The passenger a 23-year-old male, from Cumming, GA succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Both men were wearing seatbelts when the accident happened. The driver was taken to a local hospital by ground ambulance with injuries. Repairs to the road damage are planned for March 25th according to Idaho 511.
The accident is under investigation by the ISP.
