A humanitarian aid collection drive will be taking place this week in Southern Idaho to gather items to send to Ukraine. Items needed include food, clothes, baby items, hygiene products, and money.

Idahoans Can Help Ukraine With Humanitarian Drive This Week

The humanitarian aid collection drive is happening in Twin Falls at the Canyon Crest Event Center. Those interested in helping can donate items between 1 and 7 PM today and tomorrow (Tuesday and Wednesday). Canyon Crest is located at 330 Canyon Crest Drive in Twin Falls, Idaho. The full list of items needed and being accepted can be found on the organizer's website.

If you want to help but are unable to drop off items at Canyon Crest, you can also donate items from your home. A special Amazon shopping list has been created where you can order items to help the effort.

The humanitarian aid event is being organized by Rob Sturgill, of Kimberly, through his charity Type Of Wood. Sturgill started the charity in 2014 to help those struggling to live in the Philippines after a natural disaster. You can learn more about Sturgill and the Type Of Wood charity on their website.
