Idaho Kids Protesting Reform

When I was in school, the only thing I thing I ever protested was the food! Honestly, things have changed so much in the last 10 years.  It does make me wonder though whether these kids actually care what was going on or if they just saw it as a sweet opportunity to skip class.  Skipping school for a reason I could get away with, I’d do it.

  • Twin Falls Police:  GREAT work keeping everyone safe.  I was very glad to hear that nobody was hurt yesterday.
  • It seemed to me that we had some difficulty separating the issue of education reform from whether or not children should be allowed to walk out of school without a parents’ permission.  At least is seemed that way.  It makes sense.  No matter what side you fall on, calling this a “big thing” is an understatement.
  • Twin Falls High School Lockdown:  Were the administrators just doing their job and concerned with the safety of students or were they stifling civil liberty?
