
Idaho State Police Investigating Fatal Crash on I15 Near Pocatello
A fatal accident north of Pocatello is being investigated by the Idaho State Police.

The crash involved 2 vehicles on Interstate 15 on April 24th.
Around 1:55 in the afternoon, ISP troopers responded to the accident in the southbound lanes of I15 near mile marker 74.
The Idaho State Police reported:
A 2000 Subaru Legacy, driven by a 48-year-old male out of Inkom, was driving southbound on I15 when traffic slowed.
The Subaru then struck the back of a 2019 Audi A6, driven by a 60-year-old male out of Idaho Falls and was also occupied by a 59-year-old female passenger out of Idaho Falls.
The driver of the Subaru was not wearing a seatbelt and passed away from his injuries at the scene of the accident.
Both occupants of the Audi were wearing seatbelts and were transported to a local hospital.

Idaho State Police also recently rescued a 54-year-old male driver who had driven off a road and down a steep embankment near Orofino. The truck ended up resting against a tree.
The accident happened on April 23rd and the driver of the truck sustained critical injuries and required transport by air ambulance to a local hospital.
