These People Are Hiding Money Outdoors in UT and ID for You to Find and Keep

I came across both of these groups while doomscrolling Reels on Facebook last night. There’s a group in Idaho and a group in Utah hiding money in public places for the community to find.

The group in Idaho, Money Deal Treasure Valley, just posted that they’ll be hiding $5,000 in June, calling it the Mammoth Hunt. It’s a scavenger hunt divided into 2 different hunts, and you have to register online to be part of it.

The group in Utah, called Find the Stache Utah, has also been hiding large amounts of cash in areas like the Barbacoa Mexican Grill in SLC, at the Loveland Living Planet Aquarium in Draper, and outside the Riverton Cinemark Theater and Seoul Meat Co.

The great part is that you can follow them on social media, and if you find the cash, you get to keep it.

Happy hunting, and remember us poor little people when you find a ‘stache’ of cash.
