
Elderly Driver From North Dakota Killed in Idaho Rollover Crash
An elderly driver from North Dakota passing through Northern Idaho was killed in a car accident on Sunday afternoon.
Idaho State Police are investigating the crash.
Elderly North Dakota Man Dies After Rollover Crash on I-90 in Northern Idaho
ISP have reported that the rollover accident happened on Sunday, June 22nd a few minutes before 3:30 PM on Interstate 90 at mile marker 29.
A Coachmen Leprechaun motorcoach, driven by a 71-year-old male from Mandan, North Dakota, was traveling eastbound on I 90.
The driver of the Coachmen reportedly suffered a medical emergency before he left the roadway, traveled up an embankment, and overturned.
The driver was extricated from the vehicle and transported to a local hospital via Life Flight.
A 72-year-old passenger, also from Mandan, North Dakota was not injured in the crash.
The report states that the driver was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash but later passed away from his injuries at the hospital.
The accident blocked traffic in the area for about an hour.
