It's the kind of video that makes you scream--and it's serving as quite the reminder to Idaho drivers--and really, anyone online that has seen it, that it's always important to look both ways. One of the first things you learn as a kid is to look both ways before you cross a street and it's no different when you're behind the wheel of a car.

One driver in Caldwell seems to have gotten very lucky for forgetting that important step.

Captured by dash came footage of what looks (and sounds to be) a large semi-truck, this car was just inches away from being smashed and t-boned

Here's a closer look at the wreck that almost happened in Caldwell outside of Simplot just this week:

We can't believe a collision was avoided and are so thankful that nobody was hurt.

Several folks on Facebook were commenting about how luck the driver was, in what appears to be a Toyota sedan. There's no doubt that if that driver door had been hit by the semi, which according to the dash cam, was going over 50-miles per hour, there could very well have been a fatality.

Look both ways, stay attentive, and drive safe out there, Idaho.

This isn't the first time that dash cam footage, which is becoming more and more popular, captured terrifying road footage in the State of Idaho, only to be spread across the internet. Here's a look back at two other incidents that have served as stark reminders to be attentive while driving:
