Local Police Share Photos, Recap Their Time at Viral Idaho Birthday

A call from a mother in Caldwell, Idaho turned into one of the biggest stories in America over the weekend. Over 3 Million people (and counting...still) viewed her ask: if you have some time on Saturday, could you drive by and honk for my son's 6th birthday?

Her son, Levi, had just gotten home from the children's hospital where he was battling Leukemia.

The story reached far and wide. The turnout? Absolutely insane.

Local first responders showed up big as well--everything from police, paramedics, fire fighters and even SWAT! We're thankful that one local law enforcement agency shared their photos from the really heart-felt party.

After the major party, the Canyon County Sheriff's Office shared some of their favorite photos from the birthday parade!

It was priceless to see just how excited Levi was on his special day! 

The pictures hardly do this drive-by party justice. On Saturday, April 25th, THOUSANDS of cars drove by Levi's home. But that just doesn't do it justice.

What folks have been seeing and reading news simplifies just how big the turnout was.

Local police shut down numerous roads near the family's home--including major intersections and roundabouts. The line to the neighborhood was miles long, at one point curving and directed by police through Vallivue High School's parking lot.

We were in line to drive by and honk....for three hours. 

The community went ABOVE AND BEYOND for Levi and it's something you would only see right here in Idaho-Home.
