This isn't the first time that dinosaurs have made an appearance in Idaho. Next month you can see realistic-looking dinosaurs in a Jurassic experience that is fun for the whole family.

Jurassic Quests Coming To Nampa, Idaho

The dinosaurs part of Jurassic Quest will be at the Ford Idaho Center from December 9th through December 11th. You will be able to see life-size dinosaurs, there will be walking dinosaur rides, and life-size fossils like T-Rex skulls and teeth. That is just to name a few. If you have a kiddo that really loves dinosaurs, this is an opportunity for them to learn more about them and see just how big some of the dinosaurs were back in the day.

Ticket And Tour Information

It is a timed tour so you will have to purchase a time slot to go in and check everything out. Popular time slots are pretty much guaranteed to sell out quickly so if you want to go at a time that is convenient for you, you may want to get tickets right away. Ticket prices vary. People between the age of 2 and 64 are $22 dollars each. Children under the age of 2 are free. Seniors 65 and older are $19 dollars each. You can also purchase an unlimited pass for children where they can do rides, fossil digs, and more for $36 dollars each.

Other Things Happening During Jurassic Quest

You not only will get to see the dinosaurs and explore, but there are other activities like digging for fossils, rides, and inflatable attractions. You have opportunities to meet and greet some baby dinosaurs. There are bounce houses and bungee pulls. There is an interactive challenge where you must solve clues to earn some rewards. Crafts and coloring stations are also going to be there. It really is a full interactive experience.

Types Of Dinos You Will See

Triceratops and T-Rex are some of the ones I recognize by name. A Megalodon will make an appearance as well as an Apatosaurus, Spinosaurus, and even raptors. There are a lot of other dinosaurs that will be there that are both babies and massive. You can even train some raptors.

Other Things To Know

Strollers and cameras are welcome and even encouraged. There are going to be lots of places to take some cool photos. Children need to be wearing socks for many of the attractions like the inflatables. The quest lasts 1 to 2 hours and you go at your own pace.
