Longtime Food Combo Change At Idaho Costco Announced
For fans of your local Costco food court, an announcement was made recently by the company regarding a change to a decades-long offered combo special. Customers on their way out the door after checkout might see more plastic bottles on tables than fountain drinks from here on out.
I'm amazed every time I head toward the exit after purchasing my bulk groceries from our Twin Falls Costco and glance over at the food court. It's busier than most area restaurants, with rarely a table available at the only time I can manage going, which is usually Saturday mornings.
I have to admit, I don't normally eat at Costco. If our son is with us, we might grab him a sundae or giant cookie on the way out. We do frequently pick up a pizza heading into the weekend, because well, it's Costco pizza and it's really damn good.

Costco Announces 2026 Change To Longtime Menu Combo Item
Costco has announced that they will now offer bottled water as a substitute option for a fountain soda as part of its $1.50 hot dog combo meal, according to Yahoo Life. This change appeals to those who want a healthier beverage option to go along with the all-beef dog, which contains just 33 grams of fat, according to Calorie King.

While many Costco regulars won't find the change all that newsworthy, it is the first time the company has tweaked the combo item in more than 40 years. The hot dog combo meal price will remain at $1.50 and include one free fountain soda refill or bottled water.
