Mazes, Haunted Swamps and Dwarfs This Weekend in the Magic Valley

Another week is already coming to an end, and September is flying by like most months have this year. Many are getting excited as the calendar is set to officially become fall next week, meaning this is literally the final weekend of summer for 2025. The weather is expected to be great, there are plenty of things happening, and some fun attractions are set to open this weekend. Get off the couch, get out, and have some fun at the many events in the Magic Valley this September weekend.

Friday, September 19 and Saturday, September 20 - Tubbs Berry Farm

One of the best parts about fall is corn and hay mazes. One of the best in the area is Tubbs Berry Farm, where not only do you have to navigate a massive hay maze, but also find all the symbols on your punch card. You may find the exit, but you have to go back in if you don't have them all punched. Tubbs opens this weekend and will be open Friday and Saturday from 10 AM to 9 PM. Friday, September 19 - Dwarfanators Wrestling

Have you ever seen little people wrestle? Have you wanted to? This weekend, Dwarfanators, Dwarf Wrestling, is taking place in Twin Falls at Woody's 2.0. It all happens this Friday, beginning at 7 PM. Friday, September 19 - Open Dance

Do you enjoy dancing? Then head on out to Hayloft Hall this Friday for open dance from 7 PM to 10 PM. It doesn't matter if you like line dancing, swing dancing, two-stepping, or any other type of dance; you can shake your booty as much as you want. Friday, September 19 - Sunday, September 21 - 'Godspell'

Sometimes it is nice to go to the theatre, relax indoors, and be entertained by a musical or a play. The Orpheum Theatre is constantly putting on amazing productions, and this weekend, they will have 'Godspell' being performed. There will be three chances to catch the musical as there will be a show on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with show times at 7 PM on Friday and Saturday and at 2 PM on Sunday. Friday, September 19 and Saturday, September 20 - The Haunted Swamp

The time has finally arrived. It is time to get scared and see if you are brave enough to go through The Haunted Swamp. This weekend is opening weekend, and The Haunted Swamp will be open on Friday and Saturday from 7:30 PM to 11 PM. On Friday, it will be opening night, and tickets are buy one get one free, and on Saturday, if you bring a canned food item, it will be donated to Valley House, and your ticket will only be $15. Saturday, September 20 - Brews, Clues, and Running Shoes

If you enjoy the show 'The Amazing Race', then Brews, Clues, and Running Shoes is for you. The event covers 3 miles with clues, trivia, and activities. All proceeds go towards Girls on the Run Southern Idaho. This is a registered event, and let this be a reminder that if you registered, it is happening this weekend. If you are not registered, perhaps you can get lucky and join a team that is missing someone. It is a fun time, good exercise, and benefits a good cause. Saturday, September 20 - Movie Matinee

Going to the movies is a relaxing and fun way to spend a Saturday. The only thing better is when you can do so for free. Every Saturday at 3 PM at the Twin Falls Public Library, they have Movie Matinee, and this week they will be showing 'A Minecraft Movie'. If you haven't seen it yet or have kids who love it, this is a great weekend to go check it out for free.
