The calendar has officially turned to fall, marking this the first official weekend of the season. The month is flying by and coming to an end, and this will also be the final weekend of September. Thursday, September 25 and Saturday, September 27 - CSI Women's Soccer

The soccer season is going by quickly, and if you haven't seen the CSI women's soccer team yet, you have two chances to do so this weekend. The team is currently 3-2-1 and is coming off a loss, but looks to rebound with its two games this week. The first game will be played on Thursday at 1 PM against Snow College, and the second game will be held on Saturday at 11 AM against Utah State University Eastern. The women won't be the only soccer team in action this weekend, as the CSI men's soccer team will also play two games. The men are currently 4-3-1 and won their most recent game. They will look to get a winning streak going this week as they take on Snow College on Thursday at 3:30 PM and then take the field again on Saturday against Utah State University Eastern at 1:30. With it officially being fall, that means the fall attractions are back, and one of the best in the Magic Valley is Tubbs Berry Farm. You can get lost in their giant hay maze that is shaped like a duck, you can shoot the apple blasters, play basketball, go down the big slides, enjoy the petting zoo, watch your kids play, and much more. They are open on Thursday from 3 PM to 9 PM and then on Friday and Saturday from 10 AM to 9 PM. This is a must-visit for any family in the area and is always a fun time. If you are looking for a relaxing evening activity this weekend, head over to the CSI campus this Thursday for Sunset Serenade. Take in the sunset, relax, and enjoy a free concert in the Fine Arts Center Commons. The CSI choir and jazz group will perform beginning at 5:30 PM. Do you have a kid who loves to entertain? They want to be in musicals, plays, and be a part of the theatre? This weekend is perfect for that child, as there will be a kids' audition workshop happening at the Historic Wilson Theatre in Rupert on Friday. There will be two sessions, with the first being from 2 PM to 2:45 PM and another from 3 PM to 3:45 PM. With Centennial Park being closed, things will be different this year, and the type of race you do will determine where you should park and where you start. Softball season may not be until spring, but in the fall, the CSI softball team plays multiple scrimmages against other teams, and it is a great chance to get out and see the team as they prepare for the season. This weekend, you can catch them twice as they will play two games on Saturday. The first game will be at 10 AM against USA Athletics-Embrey, and the second game will be at 2 PM against Northwest Athletics-Burke. It should be a great day to be outside and enjoy a game or two. If you enjoy art, beautiful waterfalls, and a relaxing weekend, make sure to head out to Ritter Island for the Thousand Spring Festival of Arts. The annual event will be happening on Saturday from 10 AM to 6 PM and on Sunday from 10 AM to 5 PM. There will be over 100 artists' new works to display, live music, waterfalls, drinks, and horse and mule-drawn wagons. Tickets are $6 for adults, $5 for seniors, and $3 for those 5 to 12.
