Justin Bieber Has Passed Elton John With The Highest-Certified Single In History

I am not sure that I approve of what this means for the future of music, but Sir Elton John has just been dethroned by the baby-faced Justin Bieber! In 1997 Elton's "Candle In The Wind" became the highest selling single in history but thanks to a change in the rules Justin Bieber is now the owner of that title with "Baby".

Since a lot of people listen to songs online now they have started to count online listening as a sale. For every 100 online listens they count it as a download, so by no means did they just give the title to Justin...but Elton earned his through actual sales.
