Kite Flying, Bike Riding, Yard Sales, And Sunburns

Thank goodness we finally had a nice weekend in Twin Falls! The weather worked out great for all of the planned activities, unless you had planned on building a snow cave - then you were probably disappointed. At the Bird House we got in some kite flying, biking, yard sales, yard work, and of course a little bit of a sun burn.

My wife woke up pretty early to go adventure and find some treasures at Southern Idaho's Largest Yard Sale and came home pretty proud of herself and her purchases.

During the day we got in a mile of bike rides with the kids and finally taught them how to fly a kite since they had been asking for a few weeks. We did a few necessary jobs in the yard which was mostly taking care of a booming weed population. And of course the kids got on their swim suits and played in the water/mud. The only thing I didn't do that I probably should have done was apply some sun screen! I guess we'll call this first real sunburn of the year my base tan for summer?

It was so nice on Saturday that I was tempted to just sleep outside so I could enjoy the weather while it lasted! But instead we took advantage of the $10 per car at the Drive-In.
