Laney Morgan Memorial: Twin Falls Teen Killed in Car Crash

In a tragic accident on Homecoming night for Twin Falls High School, a Twin Falls teen was killed in a car accident.

Laney Morgan was a junior at Twin Falls High School and played on the softball team and had recently joined the wrestling team. A memorial account has been set up in her honor to help her family with expenses and to show love and support from the community.

Memorial for Twin Falls Teen Killed in Car Accident

Laney Morgan was killed in a car accident that happened on the morning of September 8th in Gooding County. She was transported by air ambulance but succumbed to her injures at a local hospital.

The community, friends, family, and teammates have rallied to honor her memory and help her family during this time of tragedy. A memorial fund account has been set up with Idaho Central Credit Union where donations can be made until December 18th. Donations can also be made on Zelle or Venmo @Carrie-Morgan-46.

There will be a memorial service for Laney at the Twin Falls High School softball field on September 15th at 3PM.

The softball team held a balloon release and painted the rock outside the high school on Sunday evening.

There were 2 other fatal accidents over the weekend in Idaho. In an accident near Riggins on Sunday, 2 people were killed in a motorcycle accident and a pedestrian was killed on I84 on Saturday morning after being struck by a car.
