Winter Storm Warning for the Magic Valley

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for South Central Idaho in effect now until 11 Wednesday morning. The storm is expected to drop up to 4 inches of snow and winds gusting up to 55 miles per hour. Slick roads and low visibility could make it impossible for school buses to gather children safely and for parents to drop kids at school.

The weather alert says the travel conditions could be ‘very difficult to impossible’ and the winds could cause damage to trees and other property.
