Boise has always been known as a great place to live if you’re into the outdoors. The entire state is a hiker’s dream, with trails for both beginners and more experienced athlete-types. Exercise.com even named Idaho, the tenth fittest state in America.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is bringing his fitness competition show, “The Titan Games,” back to NBC. In the second season of the show, the Treasure Valley will finally be represented.

The show features people with regular jobs who happen to be athletic and puts them in fitness competition with professional athletes from the NFL, the UFC, and more, including the Olympics. This season is 13 episodes that begin on May 25th.

The 36 everyday athletes are broken up into three regions: West, Central, and East. Dr. Kaleb Redden of Meridian will be in the Central region.  The grand prize is $100,000, and if one of the professional athletes wins the competition, it will go to the charity of their choice.  A few of the professional athletes participating are former NFL stars Victor Cruz and Joe Thomas, and UFC star Tyron Woodley.

Best of luck to Dr. Redden, the Treasure Valley will be cheering you on!
