UPDATE, 5:05 p.m.: Police responded to multiple crashes on Interstate 84 between Glenns Ferry and Mountain Home on Tuesday morning.

Multiple slide-off also were reported, police said, but according to one witness who spoke with News Radio 1310 many of the slide-offs and crashes looked as if they involved semis.

The crashes blocked lanes of travel, backing up traffic for what appeared to be miles. Vehicles moved slowly once one eastbound and one westbound lane reopened a little before noon.

Later, Idaho State Police said a little after 4:30 p.m. that all lanes of travel were once again open.

UPDATE, 12:16 p.m.: At a little before noon on Tuesday, Idaho State Police said one lane eastbound and one lane westbound on Interstate 84 between Glenns Ferry and Mountain Home has opened to traffic. Previously, there were some blockage due to crashes caused by wintry weather, police said. More info will be posted as it becomes available.

(KLIX) – Idaho State Police is warning motorists that driving on the interstate between Glenns Ferry and Mountain Home this morning is risky, as there have been multiple crashes and slide-offs due to inclement weather.

There also is some road blockage because of crashes.

Slow down and be careful if you drive through the area. More information will be posted as it becomes available.
