Nine Year Old Nearly Abducted, Twin Falls Police Looking for Suspect

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) Twin Falls authorities are trying to track down a man suspected of attempted child abduction Tuesday afternoon. According to the city of Twin Falls, a 9 year old girl was chased by an unknown man while walking home from her bus stop on Field Stream Way and North College Road at around 4 p.m. Police say the suspect was thought to be in his 20's with dark blonde hair, brown eyes, wearing glasses, black coat and black sneakers. Police say the man followed the girl before darting off in a different direction.

If the public has any information, they can share it with police by calling 208-735-4357. They also ask if anyone might have surveillance video from the area of the attempted abduction to please contact them. The police department is working with the county sheriff's office and has advised school officials.
