The Famous Oscar Mayer Wienermobile was Just Spotted in Twin Falls

Twin Falls is a pretty exciting town, especially as the fair is about to start this week, but we still get pretty excited when the iconic Wienermobile rolls through town.

Wienermobile Passes Through Twin Falls

My wife just sent me a text with a picture and video of the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile on Poleline near Target. It was driving west and turned south at the Fillmore intersection by the Hampton Inn. She had an appointment to get to and wasn’t able to follow the car to see if it was going to stop somewhere for an event or to get gas nearby. There is a Chevron gas station on that corner or possibly they are spending the night at the Hampton or Holiday Inn.

There aren’t any planned stops in Twin Falls on the ‘Where My Dogs’ website, which is where you true Wienermobile fans can track the location of the car. There are a few planned stops coming up in Utah at Smith’s locations in West Jordan and South Jordan. Those dates are this Friday and Thursday respectively.

Wienermobile Visits Idaho

This isn’t the first sighting of the orange and yellow vehicle in Idaho. The icon was seen in Twin Falls in 2018 and spent a few days in Idaho Falls in the summer of 2020. There are currently 6 Wienermobile cars traveling around the United States making stops at businesses and events. If you have a cool event coming up, you can actually request to have the bold-colored Wienermobile show up at your event with giveaways. You do need to plan ahead, as the request form suggests between 3 and 12 months of advance notice.
