
Medical Incident Results in Fatal Car Accident Near Twin Falls, Idaho
The Idaho State Police have shared the details of a fatal accident that happened on Tuesday morning near Twin Falls on I84.
Police believe the driver of a vehicle had a medical emergency which caused him to crash. He passed away after being transported to the hospital.
Idaho State Police Reported Two New Fatal Accidents on Idaho Roads
In the report from the Idaho State Police, we learn that the accident happened on September 8th, around 11:50 AM. The crash happened on Interstate 84 between mile markers 196 and 197, east of Twin Falls in Jerome County.
- A 65-year-old-male from Pocatello, was driving a 2011 Toyota Avalon westbound on interstate 84 when he had an unknown medical incident.
- The vehicle went off the left side of the road and swerved back onto the roadway and then went off the right side of the road.
The vehicle then went off the embankment and struck an ITD fence. The driver was wearing his seatbelt and was transported to the hospital where he passed away.
The accident is being investigated by ISP

ISP also shared a news release regarding a fatal accident that happened in Lincoln County on Wednesday evening. A driver from Twin Falls in a 1991 cargo truck failed to navigate a curve in the road at E 1120 N and N950 E near Richfield.
The truck rolled and the driver was ejected. He passed away at the scene of the accident.
