Police, EMS, and Fire Respond to Incident Tuesday in Buhl, ID
Tuesday evening in Buhl, police, EMS, and fire responded to a medical call that turned into much more than a person experiencing chest pains.
Police Called to Possible Hazmat Incident in Buhl, Idaho
Initially, the emergency responders were called out for a medical incident report of a person with chest pains. Upon arrival, the teams found the incident to be much more serious. Multiple people were in need of medical attention and it was deemed there could be a hazmat situation. The possibility of such a danger called for an increased number of emergency responders and vehicles, which caused concern and speculation among residents. Some comments on social media claimed knowledge of a gas leak or other issues other than what was stated by police.
After the inspection of the house was completed and all individuals needing medical care were transported to the St. Luke’s Medical Center in Twin Falls, the Buhl Police Department sent out an update on social media. The social post includes all the information available in regard to the incident and will not be updated to protect the identities and information of those involved.

The Buhl Police Department was assisted by Idaho State Police, the Filer QRU, the Buhl Fire Department, Filer Police Department, the Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office, and Magic Valley Paramedics with the care of the individuals in need of medical attention and verifying the area was safe for other residents.
