This drone footage of The West Desert Sinkhole is a reminder that we have no business walking around the Utah desert a night.

I recommend going during daytime. And watch your step.

At least, not without a really good flashlight.

The sinkhole is said to have been discovered in 1927 by a man who was traveling the Utah desert at night and wandered into the area by accident. The story says that he uncovered the sinkhole when his horse refused to go any further.

Here's a map to the location and as you can see, this hole is big enough to be plainly seen by Google Earth. (It's 70 feet across.) If you decide to visit this location, I recommend going during daytime. And watch your step.
