Suspect Arrested in Deadly Boise Depot Shooting
BOISE, Idaho (AP) — A Boise man has been arrested in connection with a shooting at the Boise Depot that left another man dead. Brandon Bahr was arrested at a residence in Meridian shortly after the shooting Wednesday night.
The 24-year-old suspect has been charged with first-degree murder and felony aggravated assault in the victim's death. The victim, in his early 20s, has not yet been identified. Police say they responded to the Depot after a report of shots fired. Officers arrived to find a man with a gunshot wound to the chest.
The victim was taken to a hospital and died of his injuries. Officers say witnesses reported that the victim was arguing with another man when the dispute turned violent. Bahr will appear in court Thursday.
