NBC's gamble in resurrecting the live TV musical paid off handsomely (for viewers and tweets, anyway), so the network has set their sights even higher. NBC will next look to adapt 'Peter Pan' as a live televised performance, and has also given a series order to 'Wizard of Oz' drama 'Emerald City,' and a pilot order for 'Grey's Anatomy' vet Katherine Heigl's CIA drama 'State of Affairs.'

On the heels of the recent Oz: The Great And Powerful movie, we are now going to be seeing a lot more of the Emerald City and the land of Oz. There are now 5 Wizard of Oz themed TV shows in the works.
