There Are Now 5 Wizard Of Oz Themed TV Shows In The Works [UPDATE]

On the heels of the recent Oz: The Great And Powerful movie, we are now going to be seeing a lot more of the Emerald City and the land of Oz. There are now 5 Wizard of Oz themed TV shows in the works.

NBC is working on a show called "Emerald City", there's also CBS's "Dorothy", and Syfy is doing the miniseries "Warriors of Oz". Now the CW is making it 4. They're trying to get a show going called "Dorothy Must Die", where Dorothy has become an evil ruler in Oz, and the witches are now the good guys...which actually sounds pretty cool!

And here's the update - there is now a 5th Oz in the works which follows Dorothy as she chooses the red brick road instead of the yellow brick road. This will be more like Game Of Thrones...so nothing like the Oz we currently know.
