With Halloween just weeks away, those looking for a good scare can now head east of Twin Falls to one of southern Idaho's most popular spooky attractions.

The Haunted Mansions of Albion are open as of October 4. The historic grounds of the former school are located approximately 45 miles southeast of Twin Falls, in Cassia County. The attraction will be operating Friday and Saturdays through November 2, according to information posted on October 4 by Southern Idaho Tourism.

Every year in September, owners of the grounds scout volunteers to take part in frightening the public as they take a scary stroll through the halls and former classrooms located on the property. The mansions have also been investigated by dozens of ghost hunting teams, including those from the popular Travel Channel series, "Ghost Adventures."

The attraction will also be open to the public two Thursday evenings in October, on the 24th and 31st. Hours are 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the mentioned Thursdays.

The price for admission ranges from $20-$30, depending on the date you choose to go. Tickets are only good the day of purchase. Group pricing is also available. For more information on tickets and themed events, click here.

The grounds are located at 437 East North Street. You can call 208-654-1050 with any further inquiries.
