Los Angeles classic rockers Three Dog Night are performing Saturday night in Jackpot, Nevada.

Three Dog Night formed in southern California in the late sixties, and included members Danny Hutton (lead vocals), Cory Wells, Chuck Negron, Jimmy Greenspoon, Joe Shermie (bass), Michael Allsup (guitar) and drummer Floyd Sneed. Hutton and Allsup are still active members, and together will perform some of their classic hits, such as "Easy To Be Hard," and "Mama Told Me Not To Come," which was written by Randy Newman and became a number one hit for the band.

Three Dog Night has recorded three top ten hits in its time, and more than 20 songs have landed in the top 40 since 1969, according to their official website. They will perform at Cactus Pete's Resort Casino on Saturday, June 8, at 7 p.m. Tickets range from $22 to $32.

The show is taking place in the venue's outdoor arena. The band's current tour extends into late November.
