I love that Magic Mountain is just a short drive into the South Hills. In less than an hour, you can go from whatever you call our current not-wintery weather to a snow-covered mountain resort.

Tubing Is Back At Magic Mountain And This Year It’s Lit

I’m sure the majority of people go to the Magic Mountain Ski Resort to ski and snowboard, but my favorite thing is the tubing hill. They recently added a magic carpet to get you up the hill to replace the old hook and cable method. They also started nighttime tubing last year with colorful lights and it’s a whole new adventure you need to experience. Luckily, you can start that experience this weekend.

Twilight Tubing At Magic Mountain Ski Resort

Twilight Tubing is so popular that you need to reserve your time in advance to guarantee your place on the hill.

The pretty lights with the snow remind me of the beauty of the Labelle Lake Ice Palace. We went last year when they had just started their Cosmic Tubing, which is now much more pleasantly called Twilight Tubing, and we loved it. Twilight Tubing is so popular that you need to reserve your time in advance to guarantee your place on the hill.

When Is Twilight Tubing At Magic Mountain

Twilight Tubing will only happen on Friday and Saturday nights between January 13th and February 25th. Some of the lanes on the tubing hill can feel scary when they drop, but the colorful lights seemed to distract the little kids a bit from their fears. If you prefer daytime light for your tubing experience, you can also book time on the hill in advance.
