Twin Falls Kayaker Tempts Fate; 15 Feet From Shoshone Falls Edge

Some people just have no fear. I came across this video posted just a couple of days ago that shows a pair of kayakers floating to within just feet from the edge of Idaho's tallest waterfall.

The soft music playing in the background just does nothing to mask the fear in my mind of potentially drifting over Shoshone Falls, at a height of more than 200 feet. I prefer lake kayaking, where the likelihood of rescue personnel having to dislodge my bloated, lifeless corpse from under a submerged rock is very slim.

This is again, one of those videos that I enjoy watching because I wasn't the person in the kayak that day. The video was uploaded on June 11, 2018. I would urge kayakers in this area to NOT venture past the buoys.
