TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX)-A house fire killed a Twin Falls man, according to the Twin Falls County Coroner. In an early Saturday morning announcement, Coroner Gene Turley said 65-year-old Michael Johnson died as a result of a house fire.

According to the Twin Falls Fire Department, crews were called out at 2:04 a.m. to 229 Addison Avenue for a fully involved fire. Three people who lived in a basement apartment were able to escape without injury, Johnson was found by firefighters inside the home.

The home did not have fire detectors. The cause is under investigation, but is being considered an accidental fire.
