The Internet Says You Are Wearing Your Coat Wrong in Washington, Idaho, and Utah
It’s crazy that even with all the technology and information we have at our fingertips, it’s still tough deciding what is real and what is fake. It’s almost like it is easier to make up information today because people will believe what they want to believe without looking into the source and facts.
I’m not even talking about politics, though that does apply. I’m talking about simple and small ideas presented as truth that are just believable enough that they aren’t questioned.
The Internet Says You Are Wearing Your Coat Wrong in Idaho, Utah, and Washington
There are a variety of reasons I don’t trust a lot of social media influencers. This is one of them.
A video went viral a few weeks ago where a lady is wearing her coat with the big fur lining around the hood. She says that you aren’t supposed to wear it with the fur out. You’re supposed to tuck the fur into the hood to keep your head and ears warmer.
She demonstrates what she’s talking about, and that makes it even more believable. After all, if you’ve worn a coat like that, you know that the fur can get in your eyes and mouth. It’s annoying, and tucking it in solves the problem.
Interestingly, I also didn’t check the claims that the ‘fur creates its own microclimate, a calm, warm layer of air around your face.’ So, who is correct? The social media influencer or the meteorologist?
