Adventures In Cooking With Bacon – Bacon Chocolate Chip Cookies

There's an old saying - Everything's better with bacon. I concur. But, just to make sure, this week we made some chocolate chip cookies and added in some brown sugar candied bacon pieces. I was a little skeptical of this particular treat because in my mind, but it sounded delicious: bacon = good, cookies = good, chocolate chips = good. So how could this go wrong? I'm proud to say, that I don't think it did go wrong!

We took the regular chocolate chip cookie recipe from the chocolate chip package (you can use your favorite recipe if you want) that way you know the cookie part is good.  Maybe the best part out of all of this was not actually the cookie...the email sent out to all our staff afterwards was the bacon icing on the cake.

This Wednesday is Officially Townsquare Media of Twin Falls BACON DAY!  All are encouraged to bring a dish - the caveat - the main highlighted ingredient must be bacon!
