Does Breastfeeding In Public Violate ‘No Food Or Drink’ Policies [POLL]

As a male I do find it a bit awkward when a woman is breastfeeding her child in public - not worthy of reprimand...but awkward. So how do you make it more awkward? You address the mom and tell her that she and her child are in violation of the "no food or drink" policy. Awkward!

That is exactly what happened at a pool in England. A mother had her 9 month old child with her in the hot tub (so it looks like she was making bad decisions anyways) and the baby got fussy (probably from the scalding water) and decided that breastfeeding the kid while still in the hot tub was the best option to get him to stop crying.

The lifeguard on duty saw this and told her that she had to stop - not because she had a small child in the pool but because they have a strict no food or drink policy at the pool! The woman got angry and said it was her right and the lifeguard eventually dropped it. The pool's general manager later released a statement saying they do support a woman's right to breastfeed in public, just not while they're in the pool or the hot tub.
