It has been another summer of remakes and sequels. The Conan remake came out over the weekend and we also got another Spy Kids movie complete with Smell-o-vision (sounds great doesn't it!).  The Footloose remake is in full production right now and it was also announced recently that a remake of Dirty Dancing will begin filming soon. With all these remakes and sequels though, I hear a lot of complaining that the original was so great...so why remake it? Here's why - those "amazing" movies from the days of old ARE TERRIBLE!  Except for Jurassic Park, that movie is still great.
