No Taillights on Moving Van Causes Crash Near Burley
The following is from Idaho State Police: On April 13, 2015, at 9:09 pm, Idaho State Police investigated an injury crash eastbound on I86 at mile marker 8, east of Burley.
Tammy Y. Lamoureux, 53, of Kennewick, WA, was driving eastbound on I86 in a U-Haul truck, pulling a tow dolly loaded with a 2001 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The lights on the tow dolly were not working. Lamoureux was rear ended by a 2013 Freightliner semi truck pulling a 2009 Stoughton trailer driven by Denis S. Malyugin, 24, of Portland, OR. Upon impact, both vehicles traveled off the roadway, with the U-Haul driving through a fence. The tow dolly detached from the U-Haul and the Trailblazer rolled.
Lamoureux was transported by ground ambulance to Cassia Regional Medical Center in Burley. Both Lamoureux and Malyugin were wearing seatbelts.
