What Is The Answer To The Giraffe Riddle On Facebook?

Spoiler ahead - don’t read on if you don’t want the answer to the Facebook Giraffe Challenge.

Here’s how it works:

Someone posts the riddle and asks their friends to message with the answer. If you get the answer correct, nothing happens.

If you get the answer wrong, you have to change your profile picture to a giraffe for a number of days. This is the big 'thing' right now because I have a ton of Facebook friends who’ve changed their profile pic to a giraffe.

Here is the riddle -

3:00 am, the doorbell rings and you wake up. Unexpected visitors, it’s your parents and they are there for breakfast. All you have is strawberry jam, honey, wine, bread and cheese. What is the first thing you open?

Like most riddles, it gets you thinking about all of the items it wants you to choose from when the real answer has nothing to do with any of them. A bit of misdirection, in true riddle fashion.

Before you can actually have breakfast with you parents, you must first open the DOOR.

Here’s your answer to the Giraffe Challenge: Door. This is where I have a problem with the whole phenomenon - you probably guessed your eyes are the first thing you opened - but the creators of the riddle say you open the door first...but I'd count your eyes!
