Crews Responding to Fire Near Highway 93 in Lincoln County

A brush fire has been reported near Highway 93, also known to some as Highway 26, between milepost 187 and 188.

The fire is between Richfield and Carey, in Lincoln County on the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) land. The Shoshone Police Department said Lincoln County Fire crews are at the scene tending the fire as well as BLM dispatchers.

If you are communting you might want to take an alternative route.

The Blaine County Sheriff's Office made the announcement on their Facebook Wednesday afternoon around 3:40 p.m. and suggested you check 511 for updates.
