15 People Were Killed in Motorcycle Accidents Over the 100 Deadliest Days in Idaho

During the 100 Deadliest Days of Summer in Idaho this year the Idaho State Police reported dozens of fatal and serious injury accidents. While official numbers haven't been shared, ISP records put the number of lives lost over 85.

We know that at least 8 of those fatalities were caused by accidents with semi-trucks and another 15 were motorcycle crashes. Additionally there was an e-bike fatality and 3 ATV fatalities reported by ISP in news releases.

Where Did the Fatal Motorcycle Accidents Happen in Idaho Over the 100 Deadliest Days

The numbers will likely be closer to 100 fatalities over the 100 Deadliest Days of Summer this year. The announcement of 85 lives lost was shared on September 2nd, leaving another 5 days of accidents not included in the statistics.

In the reports we shared over the summer, we counted at least 15 deaths in motorcycle accidents. That number does not include fatal accidents reported by local law enforcement and not shared by the Idaho State Police.

Over the summer of 2026, we shared the details of 52 accidents on Idaho highways that left 57 people dead. As mentioned, the total number is likely much higher when all accidents are counted.

Idaho roads were dangerous and deadly for motorcycle riders, thankfully there were no fatal motorcycle vs semi truck accidents reported by the Idaho State Police, though two riders were injured while passing a semi-truck near the Oregon border.
