My nephew went to the Boise Music Festival back in June. It was his first concert, and he’s still talking about how awesome it was to see Marshmello. My first concert was Def Leppard at Wolf Mountain (it was a long time ago, and the location has a different name now) in Utah, and I remember that feeling of attending a live concert for the first time.

As we head into August, the concert season moves on, and the Ford Idaho Center is going to be one of the best places to see shows.

The Ford Idaho Center isn’t the only place to see great shows, especially with fair season approaching. Idaho fairs are known for bringing in top-tier talent. The Western Idaho Fair will happen at the end of the month, and doesn’t overlap any of the Ford Idaho Center concerts, so you don’t have to miss anything or choose between one band or another.

The western Idaho Fair is making a few changes to their schedule this year and even bigger changes in 2027. One of the best changes this year is the 5 nights of concerts!
