Some people go to the gym multiple times a week just to sweat out a few pounds. But those people are silly since apparently you can forget the gym and lose weight shopping! Seriously? A new study found that women walk an average of 180 miles a year during shopping trips, which is the equivalent of almost seven marathons or 15,000 calories. And I'm sure many people would agree that shopping is more enjoyable than working out.

They also found that a good amount of people spend more time looking for excuses to skip the gym than the time they would actually spend at the gym. Maybe you can get rid of the gym membership and just wear your sweaty gym clothes to the store and call it a day.
