Home Heating For Heroes Awards New Heating and AC Unit to Southern Idaho Veteran
Veterans Day around the United States might mean something different or cause different feelings depending on the person. It's a day to thank, honor, and remember the military veterans who served our country to maintain our freedoms and safety.
Veterans, and active military, are scattered across the country and the world, but here in Southern Idaho, one of them was given a Veterans Day gift to honor his continued service to the community and thank him for his dedication.
LOVE THIS: Southern Idaho Veteran Given Brand New Heating and AC Unit
Home Heating and Air Conditioning decided this year that they were going to give a brand new heating and AC unit to a deserving veteran or active military member. I'm sure there were numerous great nominations as the Magic Valley is full of them. But the man chosen as the winner is a true example of dedicated service to our country and community.
For the award, Home Heating for Heroes, nominations were taken and then a winner was chosen just before Veterans Day. The chosen vet, Robert Miller, served in the Air Force and the Army and continued his life of service as a volunteer firefighter.
To thank him, Home Heating and Air Conditioning surprised him and his family with a brand new heating and AC unit installation. To make the gift even more special and deserving, Robert is the sole provider in his house which includes his daughter in law and four children, after Roberts son was tragically killed in a car accident this year.
Thank you to Robert for the lifetime of selfless service and thank you to Home Heating and Air Conditioning for taking care of him and his family this veterans Day.
