
How, When, Where, and Why: The Idaho Primary Election Voter Guide
The lead-up over the last month to today’s voting has been exciting, divisive, and controversial. From radio and TV commercials to paper mailers and social media messages, a variety of opinions, ideas, and feelings have been shared.
Now it all culminates, and residents are heading to the polls to vote in the primary elections across Idaho. This will be a pivotal day as the primary election is used to determine who will be on the ballot for the official election in November. Voting today includes candidates for Senate, Governor, District and State Representatives, State and County Offices, and other Legislative Offices.
Why is it Important to Vote in the Idaho Primary Elections
Today, we aren’t voting to decide who will win the final election. Today, we get to vote to decide which candidates will be on the ballot in the November general election. Some candidates are on the ballot alone in their category, and others have more than half a dozen candidate options.
