Christmas in the Nighttime Sky in Twin Falls in Urgent Need of Volunteers

It may feel like too soon to be talking about Christmas activities, but the planning and preparation for the largest Christmas event in Southern Idaho never stops.

The annual Christmas in the Nighttime Sky event is made possible by volunteers. It’s people here in the Magic Valley donating their time to make the event a success and to make sure every kid gets a Christmas present. But they need extra help, and without new volunteers, the event may not happen this year.

Twin Falls Christmas in the Nighttime Sky Asking for Community Volunteers

Last year, the event moved from Kimberly Nurseries in Twin Falls to the Twin Falls County Fairgrounds. It was a big move, and it was needed for the growing event. In 2025, the community response was massive, with more than 3,300 people attending and donating more than 3,000 toys. But before the gates opened and the chili and potato dinner was being served, dozens of people had prepared for months behind the scenes for the event.

Many people loved the event and have loved it for years, and some were unhappy with the location change or how it was implemented. Opinions were shared online, and now is the time to use those opinions to make the event better.

Christmas in the Nighttime Sky is in urgent need of volunteers to keep the magic alive. They are looking for at least 3 new board members, 5 committee members, volunteers for the day of the event, and community sponsors. Fill out the volunteer interest form today.
